Merial Pharmaceuticals produced Zimectrin Gold, the first equine dewormer licensed in the United States for the control of equine tapeworms. A combination of ivermectin and praziquantel offers a broad spectrum of parasite control for horses. Praziquantel is proven to be highly effective for controlling tapeworms in horses.  Safe for use in horses 2 months of age and older. Testing has not been done in breeding mares or breeding stallions. (1.55% Ivermectin / 7.75% Praziquantel)
