The Waterford is soft in the horses's mouth when the rider holds a light contact. As pressure is applied to the reins, the Waterford gives you braking power. This bit has an odd number of round links, giving the horse less to hang on. In addition, it encourages the horse to play, which helps to keep the horse's mouth moist and soft. The mouthpeice is designed to lie on a curve in the mouth, so when ordering this bit, please order a 1/2 size bigger. Sizes 5 and 5 1/2. |
